I think that all the meaning in the song springs in this part "a) EDEN EYE My mouth was a crib and it was growing lies I didn't know what love was on that day my heart's a tiny bloodclot I picked at it it never heals it never goes away" He speaks of a person who can't relate to the world, a guy who don't feel comfortable with himself and hesitate to speak untrue! But even though he lied he couldn't cheat himself, he knew something was wrong that everytime he opened his mouth he suffocated himself and destoryed his own heart. And then i the part where he sings "I burned all the good things in The Eden Eye we were too dumb to run too dead to die " He try to tell us that this person threw all his happyness away in a lie, took a distance from paradise and made himself a living doll waiting to get played with! THe last part "b) APPLE OF DISCORD Her heart's bloodstained egg we didn't handle with care it's broken and bleeding and we can never repair" I'm not completely sure! But i think it's about heir! if a parent is down they will not bring any good to their heir! Maby im wrong! |
