yeah it's definitely one of those songs you dismiss cause it's at the end but when you listen to it, it becomes your favorite song on the album. like copeland's when finally set free. yeah definitely about a relationship, where she wanted it to end but he didn't, but i bet she's off in her room missing him and writing a song like this too, because they don't want to admit to each other that they miss them. |

Haha the first few times I heard this song I thought he was saying now everyone can take a knife to the bad guy, and I thought that was pretty cool, cause it's like slaying Satan, but descriptively, like how David talks about his enemies in psalms. But the real lyrics are cool too. Like Christ's blood gave us the power to combat Satan, which we never wouldve had if not for His death. |

I love the San Francisco reference (6th and Powell)...I go to school near there. I thought I was pretty clever when I figured out the drug references, but after reading the comments, that feeling is dissipating. The marks he is referring to, however, are the marks on his arm I think, not that he is getting good grades. But the wording is awesome, because it makes it sound like a good thing. |

But we need to realize our position in God- we are His children, called and chosen specifically by Him, to serve and glorify Him. But we can't do it on our own. |

Pemberly, that's so cool that you relate the song to Jesus. I've thought of it like that too. I think this song could be about his daughter, I don't know if she was born when he wrote this or if she even has green eyes, but it would make sense of the name Apple. |
