I agree with IceWindDale 120%. I play lots of Metallica myself and I was dissapointed with this CD. Sure the songs are ok but it is waaaayy to commercialized. It's far to simple. You can learn a song on this CD in an hour if your retarted. There are no solo's at all. WHY KIRK WHY!!!!! They need to go back to the 80's heavy metal style because thats were the skill is. Slash still solos. Steve Vai still solos. Kirk needs to start back with it. The lyrics lack any meaning , straight foward or metaphoric. It's safe to say. compared to thier older stuff, this CD is shit and a waste of money. This IS coming from a true metallica fan and devoted guitarist. |

This is a great song indeed, but just like Master of Puppets, it gets tooooooo much credit and attention. It is far toooooo overrated and it's like the only Metallica song on the radio next to St. Anger and SKoM. Half the song is the same damn riff. It's way to commercial. "Metallica" or "Black Album" is still a good cd but it as well is overrated. I'm still a loyal Metallica fan but Ride, MoP, and Justice are thier best CD's. If any songs on "Metallica" needs more credit it's God That Failed, Thruogh the Never, Struggle Within and Don't tread on me |

This song is hella fun to play on guitar. Everyone should try it one day. But Cliff is a legend among many. Jason, compared to the classically trained Cliff, is shit. Robert, however, is better than Jason, but not as good as cliff. |

Just like lefttorot, this was the first song I heard by Metallica. The first time i heard this song (age 14) i was so emotinally attached to it. Althogh it isn't the best Metallica song, it WILL always be my favorite. If it was not for Metallica and this song i wouldn't be the man I am today. |

On what the song is about, I'm 100% with TheExile. It's about televangelists and there promises of a life in heaven if you make large contrabutions to there bank account and buy all their merchandice. I'm a christian and I still think it's a great song. It's the song (Next to master of puppets) that made a part of the metal militia. |

I agree with every with pieroyin. Coming from a guitaist, musically, from a classical skills point of view, this IS Metallica's best song. All three instramentals are their best. If any other person says they suck you shoudn't listen to music (or at least Metallica) and you should burn in hell. Also the whole S&M cd kicks ass. |
