i think by 'the taste of ink' they mean when you chew on your pen and all the ink comes out. i might be being stupid but he says 'the taste of ink is getting old, it's 4 o clock in the fucking morning' as in he's awake trying to write lyrics or something and chewing on his pen in frustrartion.
im onl,y saying this because i chew on my pen alot and i just thought maybe he does too. i cant really imagine it meaning anything else? |

I love this song. it is so beautiful and although i usually like heavier stuff, i couldnt help but fall in love with this song.
To me, it is just a song written by a lonely, pissed off guy. He's saying that he feels like he is missing something, that he is apart from everyone else, or that maybe he is just confused.
This song is so personal i wont say i relate but i will say it makes me cry because it touches me so much, and i have defiantly experieneced that feeling of being alone, and feeling like your life is going nowhere.
i could have got this completely wrong, but that is what it says to me. i've had to limit my playing of this song, as it was basically all i listened to for about two whole weeks when i first heard it.
How can people like things like usher and destinys child when songs like this are around? i just cant understand it. |
