z4ckm0rris, that was a completely different incident. The 'booing" incident refers to the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, were Pete Seeger allegedly was going to cut the cable with an ax, because the sound setup was so bad. The "Judas" incident took place in 1966, at a show in Royal Albert Hall in England. |

We just finished A Streetcar Named Desire in American Lit, so I think I can help. In the play, the scenes often take place in the middle of the night. A major theme of the play is that of personas and living a lie, which I guess fits with the media theme. The play concludes with (spoiler if you haven't read it....)
Blanche being raped by Stanley and later being carried off to an insane assylum. I get the feeling that although he is unhappy with the outcome of this relationship, he does not wish such a harsh and brutal ending. |

Actually, the title is "You Only Live Once".
This song is where the title of the album "First Impressions of Earth" comes from. It describes what human relationships and other attributes of our society look like to an outside observer. |

well, i believe whatsername1251 is correct in using the term guitar solo: it begins at 1:50. But the riff and the bridge are also great. |

this song was definately written during the winter. Today i was listening to this song while walking around manhatten, and it just perfectly expresses the cold, grey winter day in manhatten. i definately agree with paradigmshift about everything. |
