this song isnt sexist at all. its about him wanting to be the only one in her life. quite selfish and jealous but i still love it. whats funny and insecure is he's trying to make it seem like if she compliments or laughs at a joke of anyone's then she doesnt mean it because she laughs at anything and says anything. he wants everyone to think she only means it for him. its an awesome song.

i hate writing anything for songs that have a million comments already but i really wanted to say something about this one because this really good guy friend of mine told me one day he was going to learn this song for me on accoustic guitar and i had never heard it before then when i did i fell instantly in love with it. A chick goes on vacation, cheats on her bf, he hears about it from a friend.. so amazing the way it is written. my favorite line: "so kiss me hard cause this will be the last time that i let you" shows that she maybe still wants him but he's not going to keep going on with this charade.

i think he's talking about how a chick hurt him emotionally (im not very stable right now..) but the lines "but you can't kill heroes.." is saying that even though she did that he's not completely broken and will get over it. great song, has a good tempo.

i love this song. "poison hearts will never change" it sounds like he's walking away from a group who tried to change him and "all the cracks they lead right to me.." could mean something along the lines of all things vandalised and imperfect leading to him, the cause of it. but he doesnt want to be this person, its just who he is no matter how hard he tries not to be. i think in the end he just accepts it though, "and they'll part/as i" possibly symbolizing people gaining respect for him being who he is.

absolutely amazing. the effect it causes on everyone is unbelievable it makes me want to cry but isnt depressing. at first i wasnt listening to the words so i didnt like how he wasnt singing but now it makes the song that much better. i love how even though she shattered his heart he doesnt want to lose those memories because he's still in love with her-he's saying the time he spent with her is worth the pain shes causing him now.
