this song is fuckin amazing. to say that trent reznor is a lyrical genius would belittle him "pigs we get what pigs deserve" i mean how are you going to beat that. and the raw emotion that he puts into the songs is insane and it drives the feeling out of the listener. a world without trent reznor is a world i would not want to live in. |

i didn't quite understand what you guys meant when you were talking about how powerful the echo of could have been was till i downloaded the song. I agree that it is amazing. I mean leave it to trent right. I dunno what i would do if his parents had made him go to law school or something lol. |

In my opinion this song isn't about the colombine shootings but it is about the same feelings the people wjo did them had Jon had a troubled past to say the least so he prolly had the same feelings as the killers in colombine did this song isn't about a school shooting but the feelings that make someone do something like that. |
