U2 – Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I felt that the "And it's you when I don't pick up the phone" line was about how he inherited his fathers tendency to close people out. Such an amazing song. |
Lou Reed – Street Hassle Lyrics | 17 years ago |
You probably know it but Springsteen does vocals on the "Believe me, that's just a lie" verse. |
Ryan Adams – Always on My Mind (Brenda Lee cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
is that Norah Jones on backup vocals towards the end? It kind of sounds like her and she did "Dear John" so it seems possible. |

Bright Eyes – Spent on Rainy Days Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think I'll print it in the personals that I'm looking for a match Someone to light me up, someone to burn the proof of the things that I've done --------------------------------------------------------- this great line is a dual-meaning. People who do drugs often look for someone to 'match' them, and a literal match. the lines that follow make sense for both meanings. |

The Rolling Stones – Let It Bleed Lyrics | 20 years ago |

The Rolling Stones – Cocksucker Blues Lyrics | 20 years ago |

The Rolling Stones – Cocksucker Blues Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Alot of the groupie stuff was staged and the picture quality is pretty lousy but there were some good parts. Some highlights of the controversial film include lots a naked groupies and roadies, heroin use, keith richards throwing a tv out a hotel window, mick apparently rubbing himself, the stones talking about snorting coke, keith looking fucked up and dozing off, etc. The film can only be showed once a year and the director has to be present. |
The Rolling Stones – Memory Motel Lyrics | 20 years ago |
the live version with Dave Matthews is good too. On that version Dave sings the "I hit the bottle and hit the sack and cried" part and it gives a new interpretation to the song. The way he sings the line it makes it seem like "hitting the sack" has nothing to do with sleeping but all to do with a bag of mary jane.\ just a thought., i dunno. |
Ryan Adams – Tina Toledo's Street Walkin' Blues Lyrics | 20 years ago |
def about a hooker and johnny is her pimp. About halfway through the song during the repeating of "Tina! Tina!" by Ryan and a female vocalist, It sounds very sililiar to the Stones song "Gimme Shelter" when Mick Jagger and a female are singing. The guitars sound the same too. |
Oasis – Little James Lyrics | 20 years ago |
as the boys of Oasis have always done they sometimes borrow from the Beatles. This song seems to be heavily influenced by "Hey Jude". |
U2 – All Because of You Lyrics | 20 years ago |
ok everybody ,. this song sound a VERY lot like "morning glory" by Oasis. The vocals don't sound similiar but the tone of the guitar building and whatnot sounds a little too familiar. Listen to both songs and see if you agree. |
