I think this is a great song. Once again Bono is helping out those who need it. Granted Greenday plays a part in this song, but lets face it, U2 is the biggest band doing the rounds in the world and without them this song never would have reached the heights that it has. Also, I don't know who wrote those lyrics up, but they are all wrong. | Garbage! Absolute pile of Shit!!! This song is just a disgrace to the U2 name. Any true U2 fan wouldn't piss on this this turd covered rectum wart if it was on fire. Shame on you Bono. | I just want to know why do these wisemen have a semi by the sea. Are there some hot babes by the sea? I we talking about these wisemen being at a beach or something with nude sunbathing girls, now if this is the case I can understand fully why they have a semi, I mena I can't help but get a semi at the beach when these hot ladies are strutting around with nothing on, or at least topless. You want to know what this song is about? I'll tell you what this song is about. It's about a person who has nothing. He hasn't got a house "no space to rent in this town" he hasn't got any friends "you thought you found a friend" he has no desires or goals "you've got no destination" "you're out of luck" and when the "sky falls" that's it, he has hit rock bottom, he has nothing and it is then and only then that this man can actually see how beautiful the day really is. And then we reach the Bridge and Bono explains all the beauty in the world that goes unnoticed. So basically Bono is sending out the message that people are too focused on the wrong things in life. And only when you have lost everything and have nothing else but the beauty of the world to focus on you then become truely happy, because you understand what really matters. P.S. Anyone who bad mouths this song, Bono and his crew or any of his other songs will find themselves in the pits of hell soon enough. |
