Well, this looks like a fun thread to be in, eh? :p I admit, back in the day, I was an Nsync obsessed little tweenie. I still haven't taken their posters off my wall, for goodness sakes. Maybe I'm just lazy, but...yeah. But I will say that Nsync is still pretty cool to me. I did like this song, and I still think it's okay. And, if they were to come out with another album, I'd buy it. But, that probably won't happen seeing as the "boyband" era is over. Eh, that's okay. I'm over it. But thank God, I've finally migrated from Nsync to Maroon 5. Thank you, Maroon 5. You've given me another (dare I say, better) band to love with a passion...far less embarassing than Nsync. Maroon 5= 133t :p |

I absolutely love this song. I think it's about this person in self-exploration. Discovering who he is, stripping himself of the layers and deciding what kind of person he is without anyone behind him to hold him back. To let him fall, and that is how he will discover who he really is. But that's just what I hear. The meaning can be pretty hard to decipher. :p Josh sings this well, but I think you guys who like this would also maybe like the version that's on the Cirque Du Soliel:Quidam soundtrack (where this song is originally from). It's sung by Mathieu Levoie, and it's absolutely mesmerizing. Check it out. ;) |

One of the best songs ever, man. M5 kicks ass. Best band I've seen in a LONG time. Probably the best band I've ever seen in my lifetime. Buuut...I'd say these lyrics are pretty much self explanitory. :p She's his girlfriend who is playing games with him. Then he decides he's done playing games, is moving on, and she want's him now. He doesn't like that he's hurting her, but he has to move on anyway because he doesn't want to play her twisted games anymore. That's how I see it anyway. :p |

A person she loved, but he abused her in his sadness, physically and mentally, to no end thinking that that would make her be a certain way to make him happy. Then, one day in his state of abusive woe, he commited suicide ("I watched you die...") and she didn't know how she could go on. That's just the way I see it. I lose my way And it's not too long before you point it out I cannot cry Because I know that's weakness in your eyes I'm forced to fake a smile, a laugh Every day of my life My heart can't possibly break When it wasn't even whole to start with This I see as before her boyfriends death.
