It's really hard to say what this song means.. I think their are probably several audio clues hidden in the song... I believe this song could be about 2 things... 1. "I'm on assignment for the FBI, " leads me to believe that this is actually a cop making a confession of the numerious terrible things your bound to see on duty. This also supports the "you can't believe the things I've seen..." 2. Zombie outbreak. Even though non of the lyrics support this.. It always lingers in the back of my head. he talks about horrors.. And the repetitive ending "all alone in a big white house.." brings out feelings of isolation and survival. I keep thinking about the movie "Diary of the dead" if any of you have seen that... Anyway.. I'm interested to hear what you guys think.. I'm sure my 2nd theory spawned because of the left 4 dead game...Let me know what you think.. |

| This song is about someone growing up in a place that isnt growing at all.. he feels like he's trapped as he watches what life could be like... but the last lines dont fit into my theory.. Which puts me at a loss.. Im going to put my thumb in my ass and hope someone comes up with a better solution :D | |

This song to me is about being supressed and at first not knowing how to handle yourself.. You try talking but it all just ends with a cheap hug and everything goes back to where you left it... being treated like s-- well you get the point. and he is afraid of what he might push the other party to "Is this how I want to spend my days? Shadowed, it fears me, my utopia" The chorus is him lashing out.. But he realizes how futile it is... he fakes a smile as his last little attempt to stand up for himself is ripped clean.. I never got a hint suicide... |
