Whoever says blur is a one hit wonder needs to realize these guys are GODS in england. They have had tons of top 10 hits and this was thier biggest song in the american market. It's unfourtunate that they never got as big here as they did in england.
This song is a joke too, it's making fun of american "grunge/punk." At the time the song came out, "grunge' was dead, and bands were still trying to sound like nirvana and failing. So blur, a british POP band wrote a song that was not only better than the american rock bands songs, but it was a total joke too. |

My favorite song from Radiohead and possibly of all time. Song is an uplifting one, on a pretty downer album. I always think of it as a song for an underdog, who's a hero for underdogs. |
