Good metal cheese. Song about how hard relationships can be..only problem is I'm sure Mr. Halford is squealing over the vision of a jacked Mediterranean pool boy. |

I think you are getting a little too deep southofheavan. The song is nothing more than gibberish in the mold of Judas Priest and many bands before and after. It is merely a song about rising to the top of the metal game and leaving others behind. Don't get me wrong this is my favorite Pantera song of all time but if you look at Cowboys vs later albums you will see how far their song writing has come, with some exceptions of course. This song though contains arguabaly dimes best solo of any pantera song, and the album as a whole I feel is his best work of any major pantera release. |

Actually "Gimme Back My Bullets" is a reference to the Billboard charts. Do me a favor all of you, look up what a bullet is and then come back and respond to the true meaning of the song. Look deep into the lyrics of the song, Ronnie just wants to get back on top. |

Song is basically a second part to Simple Man. Basically preaching the "you can have everything in this world, but to have nothing worth dieing for is not really living". |

You guys hit the nail on the head with concerns of Phils battle with addiction being the theme of this song. Bring back Down the greatest metal band of all time. Fuck Superjoint! Fuck Necrophagia! Fuck Christ Inversion! Fuck Viking Crown! Phil come to your senses and heal your pain bro. Drop the talentless noise and bring back some metal with soul. |

A little deeper than than lunchbox. The albums whole theme is suicide and the feeling of being lost in society and this is just one of the songs that adds to the common theme of the album. Life of Agony was one of my favorite bands and the true master of the ill fated idea of a concept album. Concept albums usually suck for the most part (go ask Kiss about The Elder) but this album (River Runs Red) and Ugly succeed at giving us good music with an ultimately good message. |

This is Zakk's ultimate homage to Black Sabbath. As soon as I heard the song I immediately thought it should be on Sabbaths "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" album. May be the best overall song on the album but as far as riffs go I'd go with "suffering overdue" or "final solution" but still one of my fav's off the album. |

This is by far my favorite Skynyrd song. It is a song about Ronnies struggle with fame and how he can't understand why people think he has changed when he really hasn't at all. Staying true to your roots was always Skynyrds message and this song is no exception. You can almost feel Ronnie's pain with every verse and his search for why things are they way they are. If anyone gets a chance check out Zakk Wylde's "The Color Green" and tell me this is not a homage to this song. |
