Whilst this is a great song which I love listening to, you shouldn't be too impressed by the piano solo as it is all taken from Rachmanalov's second piano concerto |

This song is the best off their best album. It is so good because it has quite a powerful message why are we all the same? but its really really catchy! I think the meaning is fairly obvious... |

I'm suprised no-one's mentioned the video (which is too hard to describe) and that does sort of suggest that the governmet theory is right. I don't think it could be about love because anyone who released a song like that which is about a REAL person, no matter how much they hate them, that is evil! I agree that it's probably deeper than drugs too. |

I've seen Keane live at V Festival 2004 (they are amazing live!) and Tom (the singer) said that this song was written by Tim (the pianist) for tom when he was feeling really down cos of this girl who had no time for him |

| Keane – Bedshaped Lyrics

I'm suprised no-one thought the same as me. Personally I think that bedshaped has a much more obvious meaning - the whole song is a dream
"You'll knock on my door
And up we'll go
In white light"
It's all perfect, everything he's ever wanted but it will never happen "I don't think so". It is the best song to have last on the album because it shows so well his 'hopes and fears', because there is hope at the end "What do I know? I know." |
