I think it has some thing to do with religion. But then it could also be about Gerard not wanting to be in the mainstream. "I wouldn't front the scene, if you paid me" He means that he doesn't want to be all over the mainstream, 'cause music isn't about the money or popularity. Even in thier other song "I never told you what I do for a Living", he mentions it again: "It ain't the money, and it sure as hell ain't just for the fame" So I think it has a lot to do with how he feels about the mainstream. |

This is how it really goes in Romeo & Juliet: "With loves light wings did I o'erpearch these walls For stony limits cannot hold love out." What Dustin is saying is the total oppisite. |

| I think this song is about is the feeling you get, when you sing the lyrics of a song and the lyrics describes exactly how your feeling at that moment. "And my voice cracks when I sing from my heart", his voice cracks because he's so overwhelmed by emotion about the song he is singing. I don't know if this makes any sense to anyone, kinda hard to describe. | |
