Robert said something about a night in a bar doing singing against other people and another chick sang 'the 13th' but it was different, and the song was inspired by that. I can imagine a complete different music video in my head... one which includes dancing, hip thrusting, and smeared lipstick lol.

This song is full of emotion, and so powerful. I think this song is about a relationshp that when it started was beautiful. The one person in the relationship may have promised everything to be perfect and nothing bad would ever happen. Then they reach the end, and what happened to the promises of everything? I guess they're still waiting...

I remember reading that Robert said that the colours were a memory of how his sister (and other people) used to always be 'in fashion' with certain colours at certain times. Something about a call in America as well..
