Well, I can't really relate this song to alcohol. It sounds more like his lover has to go to jail, and she did things she regrets. And she would really like to make them undone but she just can't. So the two of them are going to spend a nice last night together, drinking. And he is trying to keep the good memories he has of her in his mind, and also forget about the crime she commited. "the things you could do, you won't but you might the potential you'll be that you'll never see" She thinks of running away, but she knows it won't lead her anywhere. But when she's trapped in jail her decisions are limited, so she can never really do what she's able to. well... I guess not everyone agrees with my "meaning" but that's what the song tells me. |

I especially like this part "you know i'll call you eventually when i wanna talk till then you're invisible" but over all the lyrics are great. and I LOVE the drums on this album, they're so strong. absolutely great. |
