I've always viewed the "crash" as their relationship. A messy breakup, their relationship has crashed and burned, but they've managed to make it through the worst ("That's luck, we should be dead"). And she's lamenting how their relationship has fallen apart: "we should be stars and perfect tens", "I should be sleeping in your bed, instead I'll crash on your floor" |
