I like this song's message. Sometimes we try to do too much in life, or life gets to us in a way that leads to us acting in ways that are counter-productive. When this happens, we need to get our priorities back into perspective, and just "take life as it comes" instead of trying to force things. And when we finally do this, it is indeed like we are "floating" above the problems and above the tensions, finally. |

This is all about depression. The length, the way the song slowly builds, and then the crescendo all describe the process of lingering depression as good as any song I've heard. During some dark moments, this song has had a heavy impact on me. Incredible musicianship. |

I always thought this song had an erotic, sexy beat, and so I interpreted the lyrics in similar fashion. "Open up and let me in..." etc. I cannot think of this song in any other way. No matter what Thom says, this track will continue to make me hot. |
