This song reminds me of the relationship with my dad and brother. My dad is the guy in the song and my brother is the song bird. He would lay pretending to be sleeping. There relationship fizzeled. It is sad. But my brother all this time wanted to make my dad proud. Now my dad is in Iraq, for the war, and he is trying to fix things with my brother..... He wants to take him to the top of the world now. He wants to make him proud, now.

My junior year the senior class used this song on there senior video. As the pics flashed across the screen of friends of kindergarten that were still friends there senior year, it's like you never will really know what that group went through the past 13 years but i was probably rough, and not to think that even if it was the worst of times that would not have changed anything. Because there life made them who they were today. Life is hard, but the situations that you go through make you, YOU. I know that I would NOT go back and change anything.
Also, the dance.. that is life.
