Why would Corey have babies as close friends? And why would they be in a a jar?
Anyways... My opinion:
I think this song is about how as Corey was growing up, people that were once his friends changed and kind of sold-out, you could say. Corey didn't like this and ended their friendship. If that person/people tried to get back with him he might do something drastic, indicated by the line, "And kill you if you get too close." When all of his "friends" changed ways he felt like he was "left behind." I may be wrong but that's what it means to me. I've had a similar experience so I can relate to this in a way. |

This is a good song and a good album, but nothing like Slipknot's other stuff. It's the message that matters here and the lyrics are pretty powerful. If all maggots united and formed their own nation, this would be their anthem. This song is for the fans. |

I must say that this song is an awesome piece of work and one of my favorites from the last album. I can't exactly place what the exact meaning, but it makes me think of how religion is like a safety blanket for the people and one day it may all be disproved and noone will know what to do. |
