my favorite song on the newer album. The line about "God is wearing black." really put things into perspective. The song is definately about how/what people think in and about war. Likewise with the "People all grow up to die." Just immensely powerful lyrics. |

i absolutely love this song. i cant believe nobody else posted. i think its about a girl who broke up with him for a second time and hes saying that hes sick of the feeling of heartbreak so hes considering "taking her out of his life." so to speak. |

this is quite possible one of the best slipknot songs eva. ive been a big fan of slipknot ever since their s/t album. this song means life will never change. it will be the same routine until the apocolypse. you're born, you live, you spread your seed, you die. i read that somewhere. it makes sense i suppose. corey has excellent vocals for this song. the samples are perfect, and shawn does excellent power percussion in the little breakdown. |

i love this song. Alice in Chains is definately up there on the list of best grunge artists along with nirvana and bush. The lyrics are so powerful. "They spit on me in my homeland." It runs chills down your spine. It's definately a good rendition of war when you look deep into the song. |
