| Stereophonics – Have A Nice Day Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I've always known this song but, I never actually listened to the lyrics except for 'have a nice day'. It's always just been a sweet soudning song and it was the song that for some reason erupted in my head when I was younger, having my first kiss... It was such a great moment and for some reason this song was playing in my head and, though I realise now that it's not a love song, whenever I hear it, I'm reminded of that first, wonderful, and unforgettable kiss. :) | |

I love this song. Like most of the people who have posted comments, I was introduced to this song through Kill Bill Vol. 1. I think this song is about a girl who fell in love with her childhood friend and he left her at the altar with no explanation. That's how I see it anyway. And as for the movie, I loved it. Especially 'Volume 1'. I think the fact that she's a white woman and that she kicked ass the samurai way is PERFECT for the movie despite what other people have posted. The fact is, it's a story about a woman, who was betrayed. As they say, 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'. She did everything she could, and worked hard because she wanted her revenge and was willing to do anything to do so. They were all expecting her to die (because, like the some of the people who have posted before me, they thought it was highly unlikely that SHE could really do it) that's what makes it brilliant! I mean, wow. Some of the comments before me... it's like saying, Cinderella will never get the Prince because she was playing maid to her stepsisters! I mean seriously, have movies taught you nothing? The underdog is MEANT to be someone you don't expect to do well. THAT'S why they're the underdog. Welcome to Hollywood! |

| butterboy, you should try looking at 50's-60's compilations. That's where I got mine. My cousin has a CD of the Sha-Na-Na's and they did a cover of this song. | |

| I first heard this from a friend of mine. I'm not really into christian music but this song is pretty interesting. I thought it was an old commercial for Capt'n Crunch that I hadn't heard. LOL. She was singing that partt over and over and over... | |

I could really relate to this song at one point in my life. I think this song is about that thime after you just broke up with someone and you still have strong feelings for them and you can't get them out of your head but you know there's no hope anymore. "I hate you, but I love you, I can't stop thinking of you, it's true, I'm stuck on you." |

This is one of my favourite songs. The first time I heard it, was in 50 first dates and it was a remake and I completely fell in love with it because there was a time in my life when I could completely relate to it. I think this song is about a relationship that seems to be coming to an end and the person singing is reminiscing ("i have a picture, pinned to my wall, an image of you and of me and we're laughing and loving it all..") about all the good times they had together and now all they're doing is fighting over silly things ("you ask if I love you, well what can i say, you know that i do and that this is just one of those games that we play...") and he's wishing that they could fix the relationship ("Hold me now, warm my heart, stay with me, let loving start...") Beautiful, sad, song. |

| I first heard this song at the beginning of the Olsen movie and I just fell in love with it. The movie sucked but that's what you get when you're babysitting for little girls... | |
| Jem – Maybe I'm Amazed (Paul McCartney cover) Lyrics | 21 years ago |

When I heard this on the OC, I immediately fell in love with it. It's originally by Paul McCartney (so, my mum tells me) and wow. "Maybe I'm A Girl And Maybe I'm A Lonely Girl Who's In The Middle Of Something That She Doesn't Really Understand Maybe I'm A Girl And Maybe You're The Only Man Who Could Ever Help Me Baby Won't You Help Me Understand " I loved this part so much because I could really relate at the time that my bf and I broke up. |
