Hmm. I think this song is about his religious struggles. On wikipedia, it says that Phil is a Christian, and you can interpret almost all of the songs on this album as being religious or talking about religion (my opinion). Anyways, I think this song is about him struggling to do what is right and to not go back to his old ways. I think in the chorus he's talking about how he still feels God in him and is saying that He isn't far, so he will try not to do wrong. Just my opinion |

ok...this song is about....trusting someone....and all of a sudden the person you trust starts lying to you and you hear it from other people...so all of your love turns into anger and hatred. You feel that you cannot ever trust the person again. Now you want to make them pay for what they did to you and you want to make them "pay for every piece of your broken heart" |
