although Ryan wrote the song from his own experience it doesn't mean that you can't tie it to your own experiences (Everyone does it)! For those of you who don't like the video, maybe you should pay more attention to the details! I think the video is in his perspective (how he wants her back and that she is his only) Him and his girl are together through the whole video...except in the middle where the smoke causes them to seperate. The smoke can be the symbolic for a time in there relationship where things were rocky, but they found there way back together! They face many obstacles including the army men, gas and tanks! Them facing the tank at the very end of the video is very powerful for the fact that he thinks his love for her can outstand anything! Even though the video can seem kind of strange you need to look for the more meaningful parts! It is beautiful! |
