Gotta be one of my favorite Incubus songs........the solo as everyone else stated is amazing. I'm not familiar with the dirk references everyone mentions. Could any of you fill me in on all that? I tend to think that it has religious meaning, possibly the idea that god has abandoned us. |

| This song is about figuring out if you fit in or if you even want to fit in with others. I believe Dave is saying that he's himself, sing or stand with him as a friend and equal or go home. I saw the blue man group in Vegas a couple months ago......I highly recommend for anyone of any age to check out one of their shows, very eye opening and all ages can enjoy it. | |

Home should be where you can go to get out of the cold so to speak, always a place to clear your head and think about your next move. This song isn't about a woman but a woman asking him about his drug addiction....possibly heroin. The baby bitch is the drug. Notice he tells her to fuck off but that she's beautiful.
