| Primus – The Ballad Of Bodacious Lyrics | 20 years ago |
"Tuff Hedeman, often called the best bull rider ever, was one of the few to stay on Bodacious for a full eight seconds. But in 1995 Hedeman saw the terrifying side of 'Bo' when he suffered a major face smashing, and required emergency reconstructive surgery after a brutal encounter with Bodacious at the Professional Bull Riders Finals. Hedeman drew the bull again at the National Finals Rodeo in 1995, and chose not to ride him. Hedeman called Bodacious 'the baddest bull there has ever been.' It was that same year that world champion Scott Breding sustained serous injuries and became the last cowboy to attempt a ride on Bodacious. A day after the Breeding accident, during the final round of the NFR, owners Sammy and Carolyn Andrews decided to retire the bull 'in the interest of cowboy safety.' " I googled "bodacious bull" and I found that about his death. R.I.P. Bodacious |

| Primus – Pudding Time Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I'm thinking: A. Greed of children B. Apathy of parents C. Use of money to distract people from society's real problems, like animal extinction (which in itself leads to uncovering more problems that cause it, such as pollution, over-development, etc.), rather than needing a new bicycle. |

| Primus – John the Fisherman Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I heard (i forget where, but i read it on the internet) the other day that it was about an actual ship sinking, which i suppose would lead to the lyric: "He doesn't see the danger dawning. Four hours up, oh the ocean swelled and swelled, The fog rolled in it started raining. "The starboard bow." "Oh my God we're going down!" The do not hear his frantic mayday." I'm not sure if that's true, but it sounds good. Damn good song, too. |

| Primus – To Defy The Laws Of Tradition Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I think that this is Les' evaluation of society and our current ideas of right and wrong. It also seems like the title of the song may somewhat be Les' manifesto for his music career. I mean, look at all he's accomplished while remaining so unique. It seems like a challenge he's facing against society, calling out brave individuals "to defy the laws of tradition." |

| C2B3 – 48 Hours to Go Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| It might be about reinstating the draft for American troops fighting in Iraq. It sounds like it's about Iraq because of "Saddam-ize," the mentions of oil, and the talk about living in a hole. And someone is referred to as a "Texas boy" **cough**cough**. | |
| C2B3 – Junior Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This song is obviously about the Bush administration, as was mentioned on www.c2b3.com . The "yee haw" obviously shows his southern background, and the first verse talks about what he was doing around the time that the U.S. invaded Iraq, which Les says was a difficult topic to avoid writing about. The second verse most likely speaks of his unwise use of U.S. funding. And maybe it compares him to a monkey and is 10-40 a form of oil? It sounds like one of the numbers labeling the viscosity, I can't be totally sure though. The third verse is pretty much how he is funny because he isn't the smartest of fellows. Does the end of the song make a mockery of his anti-homo-sexual views? I'm really not sure but this is just what it means to me, so don't be like "you must be PINK adam because you'e queer and you're so fucking WRONG!" Just my interpretation, ladies and germs. |

| Led Zeppelin – Black Dog Lyrics | 21 years ago |
i don't mean this entire song, but i can see references to drugs in this song, more specifically marijuana; I gotta roll, can't stand still, got a flame in my heart, can't get my fill. Eyes that shine burning red, dreams of you all through my head. he has to roll joints and the like. a flame to light it up. he can't get enough of it. his eyes turn red; he gets stoned. Didn't take too long 'fore I found out, what people mean my down and out. Spent my money, took my car, started telling her friends she wants to be a star. he spends all his money and has to end up selling his car to pay for his habits. All I ask for when I pray, steady rollin' woman gonna come my way. Need a woman gonna hold my hand, won't tell me no lies, make me a happy man. he needs a woman to roll some joints? that would make him happy. i wouldn't trust my interpretation of some of the lyrics. i just saw some things that could be related in a way, but probably aren't. this song is probably about some chick. |
