This is one of the Shagg's Creepiest songs, keeping in mind that they were pushed to play in a band by their strict father. The lyrics feel so sheltered, and forced. The song kind of haunting, yet playful in a way. |

I think alot of people are confused. This song is clearly a take on the book "the stranger". Its not about war in anyway. It reenacts the point in the book where the protagonist mersault kills an arab man with no remorse. He doesn't mean to kill the character. The sun got in his eyes, and it looked like the arab man was taking out a weapon, so mersault shot him as a reflex. Later, he shows no sign of remorse, which leads him to an epihpany about the nature of existence and meaning.

On some versions of the song, the lyrics about poverty and suffering are erased and the part about the revolution is changed with "into the future". Why did they do this? The original lyrics were much more profound. |

This song is the worst ive heard in a while. It describes an idiot who fears change, and then has nothing to say about that. The music behind the lyrics are okay, though a bit unoriginal... Is there a chance that this song is to be taken sarcastically? Because if it is, then it may be the greatest song I ever hated. |
