Standing in the sun I can recall the looks on their faces I would have turned around for you For you at this part i feel like he's talking about how he's getting more famous, but he'd give it all up for this girl, like he cares that much. he says he's "standing in the sun" like he maybe he's in the spotlight, you know, but he would have left it for her.
