Puddle of Mudd – Blurry Lyrics 21 years ago
It's about talent, and his lack of it. When he says,"And everyone's so fake, And everybody's so empty, And everything is so messed up". He is actually saying"I'm fake, I'm empty, that's why I resort to cliche" Move down and you get to,"Can you take it all away, Can you take it all away, When ya shoved it in my face" He means that whenever he see's another band his horrid vacuous self and stop shoving pictures of him trying to channel Kurt Cobain's ghost and composing (by composing I mean stealing) such generic shit that Linkin Park thinks they are true artists after listening to it.

Afghan Whigs – The Dark End Of The Street Lyrics 21 years ago
It's originally a song by Gram Parsons. He's often covered by other musicians mostly due to his profound, and sincere lyrics. That and he was in a band called the 'Flying Burrito Brothers' probably the coolest band name next to the punk band 'The Urinals'.

David Bowie – All the Young Dudes Lyrics 21 years ago
It's most likely about the scene that Bowie, Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, Marc Bolan, Ian Hunter (for just a short while), Brian Ferry, Lou Reed were in. They weren't the Beatles, or the Stones that was what the older kids listened to the young dudes were new and different. They wore make-up, dressed like women, and had sex with men. Oh yeah the Mott The Hoople version is by far better.
