i don't hate the song. i just think it would have been better off as a b-side to one of the singles released. and wild honey is a good song. someone said adam described it as a "throwaway" but i think its fantastic. but bill the pny, don't you agree it might be a good song but just doesn't fit with the rest of the songs. it's out on the fringe. and if you're passionate about u2 don't go on vertigo where a dude called viro (who doesn't evenn like u2 is raising a storm) and he's a little crazy. he's got a bee in his bonnet about bono in particular. |

how predictable a response! and tjlpunkmaster69 thank you for your very reasoned response. but viro, i think you'll have trouble understanding the world if you think that the corporation behind this band is not doing it solely for the money. its purpose is to make profits. as you have claimed the band has sold a few million records. aimed at a selet audience no doubt. oh but i wonder if the band gave all their money to charity. let me think... anyway i was wondering viro if you hated the vertigo single so much why did you bother posting comments on the single especially conisdering you don't even like u2 evidenced by the fact that you have not psoted any comments on any u2 single at all. in fact what propelled you to suddenly post a comment on the single. unless you simply wished to find a group you didn't like and aggravate the fans. if so that is up to you. you had no impact on me whatsoever. as soon i saw you were simply making negative remarks i ignored you. but curiosity and humour led me to posting a comment on a single you had made numerous comments on in seriousness. i deliberately wrote the comments in such a puritan manner that would evoke a barrage of counter comments, which it certainly did. as for that remark about u2 being all over the tv and radio, that my cynical and judgemental friend is what they call advertising. it's what you do to sell your product. by the way, this band does put prices on its products or do you get them free? let me know. |
