| i think this song is kind of a stalker-love song. just in their own little slipknot way. besides the fact that it may be a love song, but it goes to a more obsessive kind of view. when u really think about it, "vermillion" means a bright red color. i think it was about corey's wife, scarlet, which also means a kind of red color. maybe he made the song for her. but then again, there are many interpretations of this song, so we really don't know. most of the time, i can't really understand what corey's writing about, but i'm trying to grasp the root of it. | |

| this song is very good. i think bert's saying that he is trying to find someone but he can't really find her yet. -i'm so far gone now, i've been running on empty- i guess that he's trying too hard to get what he wants and he ends up going crazy, or in this case, lunatic -- hence the name *lunacy fringe* overall, a very good song. i think that i've got the meanings mixed up, but i'm trying really hard to understand each song. anyhoo, thanks for listening to me! | |

now all those feelings, those yesterdays feelings will all be lost in time. but today i've wasted away for today is on my mind this song is very sad, but beautiful at the same time. bert's saying that all those feelings that he's had from the past are slowly fading away from his system. right now, he's living today somewhere lost in his mind. he also feels that he may be too focused on what's happening now than then. this causes him to maybe feeling like he still wants to keep his memories close to him. i'm glad bert went emo on this one. it's a really sweet song. |

| i absolutely love this song. first off, this song is obviously meaning that there's these kids who are listening to music that they don't even understand. its like this kid who tries really hard to fit in and starts listening to music that their "friends" are listening to. -it's kinda funny how i'm not listening anyway- the thing is that they don't know the true meaning of the songs so they're not actually "listening" to it. overall, it's a great song by a great band. | |
