Well Since this is songmeanings.net... and this is chevelle i can only say what i think until pete tell every one what he was thinking during this. If you listen to their first album pete makes numerous negative refreence to "GOD"(MIA) and even in one song (skeptic) says in good ol' "chevelle manner" he is not a theist but an Apatheist. So this song Saferwater has nothing to do wtih that LOL i agree with Screamline. alination from society and wanting to regress to the state that is more care free. though it is impossible ... it is a Great song. |

the song is about being inlove with your oppisite but compinsating all the time. Then after YOU decide to break up you feel like everything is getting worse. and maybe itwas better to compensate than to be alone |
