I guess it's just because I tie every song to my situation but I have a completely different outlook to this song than everyone here.
I think it's about a guy who finds a girl thats so much like him and he'd love to date her because they have so much in common but he won't because of what other people might think. (And this just in, You're a dead fit, But my wit won't allow it) too bad dude... cuz you know we'd be great together! |

No offense, but most of you people are dumbasses. it's Not about how "you know that you love someone but you can't stay with them so you need to walk away and it breaks your heart, etc." it's about how you love someone, but they treat you like absolute shit, and even though part of you wants desperately to leave them, you still love them and can't bring yourself to do it.. it's like, you're not strong enough because you care so much even though they treat you wrong. "I can't stop this ache, I'm addicted to your allure And I'm fiending for a cure" .....get it? |

This is what my brother is going through right now. his girlfriend and him have been together for over 2 years, and she told him that "they needed time apart".. he's done nothing but treat her right, and doesn't deserve the way she's been treating him. she changes her mind more than anything, first she doesn't want him, then she does, then she doesn't and tells him that shes going to start dating someone else at work, then they get back together, and he gives her a diamond necklace for christmas and she didn't buy him anything. he even told me that this song describes their relationship right now. I feel terrible for him, but you can't help who you love.
