I really like this song. It should have been my senior song, but no I got 'Time of your lives" by Greenday. Thats not inspiring like, this song. It inspires me to take the opprotunity to fly but not to forget about everyone from highschool. Ok I'm done ranting now. :) |

The song is very good, romantic, but not to sappy. I think the guy is basically saying that he will always love the person, but that he can't be with her now, and maybe that she can be with someone else if she wants to while he is gone. (which would be really hard to tell a lover), but he will make it back as soon as he can so they can be together again, if she still wants that. It also has a personal meaning to me, because I'll be leaving my boyfriend when I go away to college. I want him to know that the lyrics express my feelings. |
