I don't kno y everybody thinks this song has one of the greatest guitar solos ever. I mean its not a bad solo but there is nothin special about its not like is that hard to play or anything. If u wanna here a better solo by zeppelin just listen to dazed and confused or how many more times. To me this is just another song with just another solo. www.riotmentality.com |

A lot of people are saying that the puiper mentioned in the song is related to Jesus. While this song does have a lot to do with making a choice between god and the devil if you recall the tale of the peid piper. The piper mentioned in the song is obviously related to the devil. In the story the piper palys the tune ("and its whispered that soon if we all call the tune") and all of the rats that were infesting the city follow him. In the end he leads the rats to a river where they all drown. or something like that. www.riotmentality.cjb.net |

the moon doesn't represent death it represents insanity thats what the whole albums about thus the name dark side of the moon. When it says: "everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon" it sybolizes that the sun is everything normal and everything that is "in tune". therefor when the sun is eclipsed by the moon that is when the dark side of the moon shows and every thing under the dark side of the moon is twisted and insane. But when you turn up the volume really loud at the end of the song you hear "there is no dark side of the moon really, as a matter of fact it's all dark" signifying that roger waters beleives that nothin is normal and that everyone is at least a little insane and twisted. www.riotmentality.cjb.net |

| Pink Floyd – One of My Turns Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| this song seems to be pink talking to his wife and telling her that their relationship is falling apart in the beginning the song is slow and sad pink is also in a very bad state as he describes his marriage. when he says "Night after night, we pretend it's all right " this is describing how they are both are pretending that everything is fine but they both know eventually they will have to let go. After talking about this Pink has built up all of this rage because he knows that his marriage can't work but he is also too afraid to let go so in the next part of the song he flips out and starts yelling at his wife and throwing things. At the end she leaves him. When he says "why are you running away?" he is sad and scared because he knows that she isn't comin back. | |

i think that there really isn't anything wrong with the person in the song. when you listen to how the voices of the doctors are sung they seem to be portrayed as idiots. They seem to think somethings wrong with him but they can't find out thus the lines: "We can't seem to find the answers He seemed such a clear cut case We cannot just let him leave here And put all this work to waste" I still don't know about the first lines tho "Standing in the darkness Waiting for the light The smell of pure adrenaline Burning in the night Random blinding flashes Aiming at the stage Intro tape begins to roll Igniting sonic rage" It does seem to be describing a concert i don't really kno how that ties into it www.riotmentality.cjb.net |

reply to: puddrulesall when he says: "jimmy died today he blew his brains out into the bay" he aslo says: "in the state of mind in my own private suicide" what he means when he says my own private suicide is that he doesn't need that part of his life anymore and he's leaving it behind. |
