| Lindsey Buckingham – Go Insane Lyrics
|
From everything I have seen and heard related to Lindsey Buckingham's life, this song was a response to the craziness that his then wife, Carol, was causing. She was unbalanced. It was basically a song talking about how she was driving him nuts, and all the rumours that were going around about his marriage troubles.
Now, this part is only speculation on my part, but "She's a lot like you" likely is hearkening back for his former flame, Stevie Nicks. |

| The Alan Parsons Project – One Day To Fly Lyrics

The song is about Leonardo DaVinci. Wings held together with string, spiral in the sky, charcoal sketches. Those were all either DaVinci innovations or the types of works that he did.
Being as the album "On Air" is also about aviation, you have a connection. |

Suicide. The person in the song is troubled, and he ends it ("As I run into the air.") |

1914 was WWI, and since this seems to be England he's talking about, it would probably surmise to say this dealt with the war and control of poppy fields (from which Opium comes), the connection to SoHo 1984.
It's an aspect of WWI that isn't addressed all that much, the drug trade and possibly the true reason for Germany's invasion of France. |

| Sting – If I Ever Lose My Faith In You Lyrics

This song is simply a song about focus. The focus of a man on someone, perhaps his child, perhaps his wife or family. If he lost his faith in them, he'd surely die. (In no uncertain terms). |

| The Alan Parsons Project – Fall Free Lyrics

This song is a tribute to skydivers, first off.
The underlying current, however, is that of wanting to escape everything, and that all you have to do is let go and fall free into the open air. |
