I agree with you anarcticmonkey. If I heard just the song first then I may have a different opinion however, I saw the video AND song and I couldnt have said it better than anarcticmonkey.
- When it says 'his' side, I get the feeling it's probably alcohol.
- He's not saying it was her fault: maybe some things in her past could have led to her becoming self-destructive.
- She's naive in her destruction. She's such a smiling sweetheart when sober but when she's drunk she's something else.
The lyrics arnt genius but they fit perfectly & love every aspect of it. I also love the video. It reminds me of myself. Lol. Thats not a good thing. |

I love Gwen Stefani's music when its seems more natural than her other songs (What You Waiting For, Hollaback Girl). It reminds me of the days in No Doubt when she sung songs like Simple Kind Of Life. I love her work with No Doubt but I didnt think her new stuff was all that great until I heard this song. Obviously, its about Tony which I dont really need to explain the story. I reckon its awesome the way they kept the band going and they're still good friends. Very sweet. |

I love this song... im glad its so underground and hardly anyone knows about... personally im not a big beleiver in God... thats just my opinion so i see this song in a different way... it just reminds of how it feels to be in love... i imagine a man who is just about to marry and he has doubts about himself and whether he is going to be "the kind of person you deserve to worship" the woman but hes knows he loves her with all his life therefore she doesnt care because they are so deeply in love. i know this isnt right and its not about that but i see it like that. this song is going to be played at my wedding and one day id love someone to love me so much and that someone could think of me like the writer of the song does to God.
