I love this song. The chorus is powerful. Well, here's my interpretation. - "Another knife in my hands, a stain that never comes off the sheets Clean me off I'm so dirty babe It ain't the money and it sure as hell ain't just for the fame. It's for the bodies I claim and those" I would say that he's saying that he isnt just killing for the hell of it. He has a reason. ANd by saying "a stain that never comes off the sheets," I think he's saying that what he's doing is going to leave a mark in him, and on him forever. Forgive me if im wrong. |

Senoir Paco, i agree with everything you just said. To me it feels like he's willing to carry the pain on the one he loves. ( I wish he were mine, so he could carry all my effin pain...) And i also think it relates to suicide attempts and he is madly in love with her. Anyway, I think this song is amazing. |

anathematic, at the end he says he's going to "string this mother****** on fire", out of anger I presume. To me, it seems like it's about the ending of a relationship. I also agree with it being one of the best songs on Three Cheers. This band is amazing <3 |
