1)It proves nothing, other than that I don't crave other people's affection, like you seem to. - I do not. I called you egotistical. Not once have I said that I am not, or that I am any better than you. You have no proof for that. (so you are a hypocrite) 2) I know the post you are talking about and I didn't twist anything. The post (I can't remember who made it, was basically just calling me a bunch of childish names and talking about how I wanted to fuck Valo and a bunch of 14 year olds. I replied that they were a hypocrite. - Well I agree with whoever it was - you probably do want to fuck a bunch of 14yr olds (although probably not Ville Valo). I would also like to say that everyone is hypocritial at at least one point in their life. (unfortunately this includes me) 3) I am not saying I am an asshole, I am saying that there is more evidnece for this, than for me being an egomaniac. - If there is more evidence for you being an asshole, then, my god there must be an awful lot of it! Also, I have not said that you are an egomaniac, but that you are EGOTISTICAL. "i am not saying i am any better than you. I just think you are egotistical. that is my opinion." - and one you are entitled to, however incorrect it may be. - opinions are not incorrect. You may not agree. If you are going to continue to claim this, please show me an example of me twisting someones words. - well i cant be bothered to find it. but i remember that once you copied what someone rote about you being immature or something and then said that it proved that he/she was immature (or wateva) 3) Why should I respect their feelings? They are not forced to read anything I have posted, the scroll bar at the side of the screen, affords them the luxury of scrolling past my messages. (This is more of an example of me being an asshole, than being egotistical, it simply has nothing to do with my ego). -so youre an asshole rather than egotistical? is that what you re saying? i know which i would rather be... "you have no need to call it shit (or whatever). Saying that you do not like the music is perfectly suffiencient" - Let me flip this one on its head for a moment, many of the posts on this site, contain phrases like 'I love this song' or 'This band is so awesome', why use the word love, when the term "really like" or "really enjoy", means the same thing? The answer is, because it simply does not convey the strong emotion, which you feel about the song or the band, where as, "I love this fucking Band", goes some way to expressing the way you feel towards them. Likewise, 'I don't like this band', simply does not convay the kind of hatred I feel towards them, everytime I hear them. 'This band is a shit-hurricane' or 'I fucking dispise this sack-of-shit band', convays my feelings more adequately. -lol. kk. I have to go now so i wont answer that i am not saying i am any better than you. I just think you are egotistical. that is my opinion. |

1) No I don't. I think people are stupid, when they prove themselves to be stupid, not simply by disagreeing with me. -this is not the impression you give out. 2) They are totally different. Saying I am twisting someone's words, suggests that I am manipulating whatever they have said, to suit my own purpose. Pointing flaws in people's arguments, is just making an acknowledgement, that their logic is fucked up, or they are being hypocritical. If you can't see the difference, then I really can't help you on this one. -you are doing both. 3) (Firstly, this is irrelivant to the original point, that you think I am an egomaniac, but oh well...) I dare say some people would, but this just shows that they are weak little pussies, who need to grow up. If the people in question are so spineless and drippy, that a few bad words or the idea of someone thinking differently to them, about a band they are into, upsets them, then there really is no hope for them and they will probably end up slitting their own rists, because of the weather, anyway. -I agree, some people do need to grow up, however, you should respect these people's feelings. People should not have any objection to you stating your opinion, but, you have no need to call it shit (or whatever). Saying that you do not like the music is perfectly suffiencient. 1) Insulting a bands music doesn't make me egotistical, it has nothing to do with my ego, and everything to do with my opinion on what constitutes good and bad music. Posting a dergogatory point of view about a band, is no more ego related than someone who posts a message saying they love the band, ego has nothing to do with it. - but u seem to think that whatever you think is right an d unless someone agrees with you they are 'stupid' 2) I haven't twisted anyone's words, I have just pointed out how stupid or hypocrital their point of view is. -i cant see much of a difference 3) I haven't insulted anyone, who didn't insult me first, that isn't egotistical, that is just defending myself. - dont u think some people might find it insulting that you treat their music with such a lack of respect? |
