The songs are in chronological order, just sometimes there are dream sequences or flashbacks which make it seem like they aren't. I just learned something important from reading all these interpretations. When in doubt, listen to s0F. I'm wondering if he/she has some connection to the band. They always seem to make the most sense, I only wish that s0F would give song meanings for the songs on SSTB. |

| Very odd song to me. Kind of an upbeat tune, but the concept of the song is deffinetely rape. As to who is being raped, I am unclear. From what I hear, (from the individuals I consider educated in this matter) it is basically Al telling Newo about a past instance where he raped a girl. This is not what I hear when I listen. To me it seems more likely that he is raping another girl (someone he plans to kill later), or he in fact is raping Newo, or at least he fantasizes about raping Newo. | |

I would tend to think Jessie is not evil. I may be wrong on that one, but it's my guess. Claudio can talk to Jessie in this song, because Jessie isn't dead. "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth" "Cuts Marked in the March of Men" and "Three Evils" were all dreams (visions) Claudio has of things that will happen in the future. Claudio is telling Jessie that he has fled, and has this burden, and has a mission, and all that good stuff. I'm not sure of he relates what he learns in his dreams or not, but at some point he is going to try to stop the events in his dreams from occuring. It possibly may occur in the lines "in a pain that buckles out your knees, could you stop this if I plead" meaning that Claudio is pleading with him to not let the vision take place the way he dreamt it. If that is true, does this inspire Jessie to create the I-robots? That is the one thing I am confused about, where do the robots come into play, and exactly what is their purpose? |

Or possibly someone else hid the children under the floor, and not Coheed. Would that make sense? Would Jessie do that? Or possibly Josephine? If Matthew (or the other 2 children) could have visions, maybe he saw what would happen to them if Coheed found them. However it goes down, it def happens in "Everything Evil". But I'm almost positive that none of the children are dead yet. On coheedandcambria.com it says that 2 characters die in SSTB, and 2 more die in the 4th chapter (3rd album). Well the 2 that die in SSTB are Coheed and Cambria, which means that the kids aren't dead yet. ... right? |

Alot of what s0F says makes sense to me. I do believe that Claudio's children are still alive, buried beneath the floor. Does this make sense to anyone else? Here is how I envision it. Co and Ca decide that the children will never be safe once it is discovered they have power like Coheed, so they stage a fake murder. They use other bodies and instead of killing their own children, they hide them under the floorboards. Coheed takes the blame for the murder as planned. Cambria even goes to Jesse and points the blame at her husband "just come look at what you're brother did". No one knows the truth, including Claudio. When he discovers that his siblings have been murdered, he flees. It would make sense then, that this song (and the one that preceeds it ) is Claudio's vision into the future, where a battle will be staged over the 3 children. No way to tell for sure until all the comics are out, or maybe the graphic novel if they ever write it. |
