I interpret this song as referring to a situation where two people were possibly moving towards a real intimate relationship but somehow it just does not happen. Seems like the woman could not get involved - "just like you said it would be". The man had too many feelings for the women. Tries to move on but he does get wistful at times - "life goes easy on me most of the time". The void won't be filled till "...til I find somebody new". Awsome expression of emotions... |
