I think in today's day and age, it is non conformist to actually have a legit opinion. So many people hear all of the bush bashing and they instantly think that they're gonna join in cause it's against a leader. They hate bush cause it's the cool thing to do. They dont know anything about what they're talking about, they just talk. About the song, i think comparing bush and hitler is wrong. Bush is not intentionally trying to slaughter millions of people. I agree with silly kitty a lot, everybody's saying how bad bush is, when not a year ago, you had a chance to change that. Instead of bitching, which is prolly the main thing that is tearing down this country more than anything, we should try to work together. Terrorists are watching us and laughing at us tear apart our own country, what does that tell you? |

I think it's stupid how people attack others on here for speaking an opinion. What do people think, that just b/c u chew someone out and cuss them out, that they're gonna change their opinion? I dont think so. Ur only showing how dumb you are for trying. Also, i dont really like the statement made by green day, but at least they speak an opinion. The only thing i dont like is the fact that they're talking about "redneck" agendas when i am from oklahoma, i dont consider myself a redneck. It just seems like they're assuming people are rednecks just b/c they live in the south. Or that they're considering bush a redneck just b/c he has an accent and he's from texas. |

My youth group and I traveled two hours to a show in tulsa, knowing the show was sold out, we had no tickets, i had one of the best times of my life getting 9 tickets :D aw, good times good times. I love RK, I love this song, they're awesome live, and i love matt's sweater, lol. |

A good guy friend of mine told me that this song reminds me of his ex girlfriend. He said that he used to really care about her and that she used to be a strong christian, but now all she does it try to get guys attention (and she does) and she just uses them. |

This song is sooo beautiful, it is my favorite song by relient k b/c it gets away from all the goofiness and describes someone's relationship with god. It just makes me feel so comforted that no matter how horrible i am, god still forgives me. "I'm gonna love you with my life" is a brilliant line cause it describes how jesus loved us with his life and how we should do the same and give our life to him. |

I agree, dumb arguement. While we are sent by God to convert people, it's not our fault if people dont want to listen. But i do have one thing to say about the whole "pushing religion down our throats thing", these people were saying that rk would be "soooooo much better" if they didnt talk about god and that we should take it out. Well lets just say all christians came together and said "U know, I think that all secular music should have christianity in it" and we insulted you for wanting it still around? You'd prolly get upset and defend yourself, exactly like us christians are doing with our music, all i have to say is just listen to whatever you want to listen to, if you dont want to listen to it or you dont like it, dont comment and dont try to force other people not to listen to it just b/c u dont like it. |

To me, the song is about being in love w/ some1 who just uses you. Even tho u know what they r doing, u still want them to do it b/c u feel like u still have them in a way. I see the song as looking back and seeing that u luv them and can't live w/out them. Like, the guy has "gone on" and is with someone else that doesnt use him, but he's still in love with holly, and even tho she treats him badly, he wants her back. |

I think it's about people that love each other, but their relationship has become destructive to both of them b/c of depression and they feel guilty for taking out their anger on each other. The person is saying that they love them, and that they cant live with the relationship b/c they cant hurt them, they also cant hold a relationship together b/c they can't even hold themselves together. |

Makes me think of my ex. I still love him, and he's over me. It just kinda reminds me of stuff that someone would think of as their getting drunk, and starting to just think about how their must be something wrong with them and how they are a "loser".They think that someday they'll find someone they love that loves them back and the pain will "fall away". They feel like what they feel for that person is killing them. Basically, it's about loving someone who doesnt love you and it makes you feel like shit. |

To me, it sounds like she's breaking up with him and talking like their relationship meant nothing, like throwing away pictures and saying that they were just pictures, but he still cares about her and he knows deep down that she still cares for him and that she's just lying to herself and playing games. He says that "he'll go with the flow" and play her games, but he tells her that their relationship meant more to both of them than she's letting on. That's just how the lyrics hit me. |

I think it's cool that you can relate this song and many other lifehouse songs to different parts of your life. I can relate this song to sin and it's a song i listen to when I'm upset about it, but it also reminds me of an on again off again relationship ive been through.
If shame had a face, i think it would kinda look like mine, if it had a home would it be my eyes? Would you believe me if i said im tired of this? Well here we go now one more time..... I felt bad for still liking him even after he broke up with me so many times and i felt like people looked down on me, and i was tired of the break ups, but i went back out with him neway.
I tried to climb your steps i tried to chase you down i tried to see how low i could get down to the ground. I tried to earn my way i tried to tame this mind you'd better believe that i had tried to beat this... i thought that being a "good girlfriend" and doin everything he wanted me to would get him to stay with me. I also tried to push him out of my mind and get over him and beat my feelings i guess, but it didnt work
So where will this end, it goes on and on over and over and over again keeps spinning around i know that it wont stop, till i step down for good..i finally realized it wouldnt end till i just said no to him and stopped the cycle
I never thought id end up here never thought id be standing where i am, i guess i kinda thought it would be easier than this i guess i was wrong... i never thought in my wildest dreams that i would have sunk so low for a guy, and i thought love was easier than that, but it wasnt

This song reminds me of an on again/off again relationship. Like the girl just depends on him, but she gets scared and leaves him and just tries to turn off her heart, and then she's sorry and wants to get back with him. And he knows what's happening and it makes him mad and it upsets him, but he still can't leave her behind completely. That's just the way the song seems to me, I love this song it's sooo beautiful. |

To me, this song kinda reminds me how i felt after i got broken up with by a guy i really cared about. For awhile, the whole world just goes by really hazily and everything just doesnt seem to be real. But also along with it, it didnt feel like the basis of the breakup was real, like he didnt even know how he was feeling. It seemed like he was just trying to run away, but I wanted to be there for him (save u from all of the unclean) but this song can mean so much and so many different things to different people. That's what makes the song good |

I like this remix better than i liked the origanal off of hybrid theory. I think it's sound is much deeper and i think the refrain flows with the rest of the song than the origanal's did |
