Ah, love F.O.B. I'm not much of a...er...song-meaning...type person(?) therefore, I can only decode a couple verses. "I hope this is the last time, Cause I never say no to you." I think that means "she" keeps crawling back to "him" whenever one of "her" other relationships goes straight down and though "he"'s tired of it, "he" just can't seem to turn "her" down. "This is side one Flip me over I know I'm not your favorite record" (I think) : "He," being one of "her" many boyfriends is not "her" favorite, but "he" wishes to be. "The songs you grow to like Never stick at first" Easy...if you're going along with my theory of thinking. This one means (to me) that even though "he" wasn't "her" favorite, at first, "he" may still have a chance if "she" would just pay attention to "him". ("he" & "she" refer to any random couple you wish.) So yeah. That's MY idea of it. |

I gotta be honest, We're covered in lies. I think they were trying to mess with our heads there. A bit of a pun. I think that this person is saying that their partner is much more, well, perfect to put it simply, than they are, and they cant match their perfection. They're not so much sick-and-tired as just plain smaller. "We're covered in lies and thats OK". He's saying everyone makes mistakes. Its irresistable. Its unstoppable. Its just okay. Life goes on. Even though he thinks she doesnt believe in mistakes, he cant bear to break her heart, hence "I've been unable to put you down" either that or loves her so much that is almost impossible for him to. There's somewhere beyond this, I know. Either there's a place we will go, free of guilt, pain, and lies, after all of this. I'm pretty sure you all know what I mean by 'this'. Now. Today. Tomorrow. | Speechless. This song is so meaningful. I feel like crying. They've taken into account whats happening to the world, and they're crying out to everyone. I cant wait until my cd order arrives and I can listen to this song 24/7. I love the tune of the "We Believe" part. It's so beautiful. I felt like holding up a sign saying "We Believe" In fact...I JUST HAD AN IDEA! I will put a sign up in my room saying "We Believe". Maybe I can set a trend with my friends...I love how GC shows their christian side secretly in their songs. Tim Burton + This Song = Great Movie. If this reminds one of Edward Scissorhands, I WANT to see that movie. The very beginning reminds me of a jewlery box...and then it goes into a vision where its like your in a mystical place, dark, but beautiful, mist all around you, magical creatures everywhere...but then it changes, and its like you're running through those very woods, lightning and thunder, the mist closing in...ahh such a beautiful song. Very talented. Excellent. Thats what every single band in the world does. If a band doesnt do that, of course its not real music, but otherwise, every fucking band has real music. Plus, do you think your punk? You're not. Good Charlotte doesnt just go "OMG WERE SO FUCKING PUNK SO FUCK OFF YOU RETARDS". No punk does. They dont go right out and label themselves! They have nothing to prove to anyone because they know what they are, so they dont need anyone telling them they're not. So if you just want to say "OMG THEY DONT KNOW WHAT PUNK IS AND I DO CUZ IM PUNK" etc, sure, but that doesnt make you punk. In fact, thats probably because you're not. I know I'm not punk, but I like the way Good Charlotte sings and theyr music is what I like, so I'm not going to sit and argue with someone who tells me I dont know what real music is! You can complain all you want here, but there is really no point since its only going to bring up arguments and its going to have no effect whatsoever on anyone. You can be a hypocrite all you want, saying you have every right to speak your mind about a band you dont like, but you're acting as if no one here has any right at all to talk about the bands they like. Such a happily sad song. I dont think its about suicide either. It just ... its such a sweet song. I dont know why. I was listening to this song for the first time with my friend Jade and when I heard ' Can you feel the cold tonight, ' I laughed and said, 'Can you feel the love tonight!' Sick_of_Alone, I aggree. If the world were to end tonight, I would go on the white rollercoaster at Lagoon. I would ride the Collosus. I would tell Luke I liked him. I dont see what the point is of going on and on about how one hates Good Charlotte, or, for that fact, how they like them. Everyone is friggin entitled to their opinion. You know, GC really doesnt care if you all think they're so poseur, because all they want to do is make good music, which they do.
