I agree Faith..its like the Green Day issue..Bands are just like all of us..they need to eat too.. im sure if you were in theyre postition youd see it theyre way too..If you could make millions of dollars by reaching out to a different type of audience wouldnt you?People think lLP changed just because in a collaboration they say swear words and profanities..They didnt write the lyrics..JZ did..give them a break.. |

Oh and btw..I think people saying that it would suck for him cause everyone thinks his songs are about Kurt or Nirvana..is wrong..Dave thinks so highly of Kurt..he was his friend and bandmate..Plus a lot of Daves songs are about his experience in Nirvana.. |

Well..i think this song is about a couple of things mentioned..When people say its just about ordinary people it could also be about Kurt.. One of Kurts biggest things he hated was being a big superstar..he never wanted to be big..Kurt wanted to be ordinary..and play music...Kurts journals he talks about how he hated being a superstar..now being a big fan i never wanted those released..Dave fronted the resistance against Courtney realeasing them for her own benefit..
Dave is one of the most talented musicians in the world..hes played in three bands.. Nirvana,Foo Fighters..but none of you mentioned his Drumming job in the Queens of The Stone Age.. Dave said: "I can play the drums and I can also play the guitar and sing in Foo Fighters, and I want to be able to do both," Grohl explained. "Just to be able to exercise that option and say, 'I think I'm gonna go play drums for a while in this kick-ass band that everyone thinks is awesome, and then I'll go back and headline the Reading Festival [with Foo Fighters].' That's so great, man. Who wouldn't wanna do that?"
I love the Foo Fighters..I listen to the acoustic version of this song from the Howard Stern show almost every day..My opinion of one of the best songs ever.. |

Stainds music has changed because they used to be angry music..Dysfunction is an Angry CD.. Break the Cycle is a Sadd CD..and 14 Shades of Grey is a happier CD..because with the success of the band they gradually become sad from regret of what has happened..then they become happy..
Now About Fred.. Fred actually adds a lot of depth to this song.. his voice is much different from Aaron's when they sing the chorus together..you get the higher voice in AAron and the Lower voice in Fred.. all you people making fun of fred need to shut up.. half of you couldnt do what he did..he cant sing that well and still managed to get his band on top of the charts on more than one occasion..'
Now every Band played on the radio is commercialized..how are you going to get people to by albums without advertisments,so people shut up..
Aaron was a very angry man..i went to see KoRn in concertwhen dysfunction had originally came out i walked in to the arena..and the song "Home'" was playing that just blew my mind..the only Staind son i had heard was Mudshovel.. i got inside and after a couple of song MudShovel came on..and a board came across the fans..Aaron got on and was surfing across it..and while singing he was knocking down the guys trying to climb up.. he really hit em hard too.. im glad i didnt try.. |

actually she had every right..when you get permission from Axl you have every right..and this song actually goes perfect with the movie..being a big G n' R fan ever since i was younger ..i personally love this song..not better than the original..but then again what could be? |

i agree froggie..you cant like LP and not like hip-hop even a little..i mean c'mon Mike is a rapper..have you heard him sing? he raps not sings.. but anyway..BlahBl1nkM3..said they have zero talent? and mixin with Jay-z proves it? do you really think one of the greatest hip hop artist would collaborate with just anyone?i dont think so.. LP is one of the best bands around right now..they live to please the fans.. they appeal to all ages of fans..my mom and dad like LP my lil sister likes them..the popular kids at school like them..and the not so popular kids like them..and no one complains..thats beacause LP aims to do that.. |

i agree with Browneyedjet.. I mean LP is as much a hip-hop artist as they are rock. So why not collaborate with one of the greatest rappers? Come on Jay-z is the perfect fit.. They sound awesome together.. if you dont think all the B*** and crap belongs with LP i guess your wrong..cause they did the album didnt they? which means they liked it..And Mike even sings some of it in the dvd he says it so its fine with him..And i think people who call band are sellout are just friggin jealous cause they have no musical abilities.. So People who think that need to shut the hell up! if i may Quote Chris Jericho.. In conclusion.. This song is one of my favorites on the album.. So leave it the hell alone.. |
