Love the song. Can't think of a song more perfect for a movie as this and Kids. anyways, I'm desperately searching for a guitar tab or chord file for the song and am having NO LUCK whatsoever. oleesha, in the album version, that mumbled part is pretty much indecipherable, the lyrics posted refer to what Thom says during live performances. Anyways, I love this song, and I also figured it was basically about ones stream of mind during a divorce... And man the Amnesiac version is so underrated, it's one of their most ethereal songs... |

Probably the most underrated Radiohead song around. This one really cheers me up. The texture of it is sort of like a song version of the drug Melatonin....if that makes sense. I have trouble sleeping, take melatonin, and this song sorta just sits right with me. Like if I faded off the face of the Earth, this song would play... Yeah, I'm gonna keep on ramblin', ramblers... |

I really like those extended lyrics, I'd also like to know what version. This is probably my all-around favorite song off of HTTT (Second being Backdrifts or Where I End...), and for some odd reason it reminds me of the old Sega Gensis Sonic games... (I think it's because there's a level called Scrap Brain Zone...) That being said, I love this song in every form. I love the Skttrbrain Four Tet Mix especially, I just can't get enough of that elephant sound at the end. |

heard this song for the first time last year, New Year's Eve. Wasn't doing anything so I downloaded it because I loved the title. Man, it was the first time I've ever been really moved by a song. Really...I just listened, not trying to figure out the lyrics, just listening, and it hit something in me really hard, just something in my fucking gut. I must've listened to it ten times with my eyes closed, and when I opened them again I realized it was a new year. It just seemed to fit so well with the only lyrics I could understand being "There was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt" A couple weeks later, I had this song on repeat as I slept, and I woke up in the middle of the night to see a brilliantly white full moon beaming right down in my window. Brightest I've ever seen it, almost lit up my whole room, but the sky was so dark around it. I just stared up at the moon while the song went on, it was ethereal. I guess that's the only way to articulate how powerful this song is too many, so sorry for rambling so fucking much. |
