| Oasis – Don't Look Back in Anger Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think start a revolution from my bed is a reference to John and Yoko's "Bed in for Peace". Forgiving the rip from Imagine, this song is fabulous and gives mad props to Lennon, and showcases fine lyrics. | |
| Oasis – All Around The World Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Great song. I'm a huge Oasis fan, but I would never compare this to Hey Jude. It has nothing on Paul wigging out at the end of the Jude. That's some aweseme rock right there. | |

Lyrics were pretty close, but here they are- Won't decide, but he won't debate Said, "Thanks my friend," but he was too late Oh why, oh why I don't know So you think things move pretty fast down here Well just wait my dear 'till you look up there Oh maybe someday you'll know Had his second kid, was an early night Got to be well dressed 'cause he hates to fly Oh loves his job, takes it home Anything they wanted They could have it, have it Didn't even notice I don't mind it, mind it Won't decide, but he won't debate Said, "Thanks my friend, thought that we was dead" Oh why, oh why I don't know Think things move pretty fast down here But just wait my dear 'till we get up there Oh maybe someday they'll know Come on tell me does she warm the room When he comes Or does he just know how to leave When it gets cold Well I don't care, I don't care 'Cause it's free |

ah yes! The idea about him singing to a dying love really seems to be it to me. The song has a lot of depth to it, giving it more that him just breaking up with someone. I know we'll make it anywhere Away from here And maybe it is even the death is inadvertantly his fault. There is a lot of sorrow in the words. |

| Oasis – Help! (The Beatles cover) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| In a scary world of crappy Beatles covers, I have to hand it to Oasis on this one. They've managed to capture all the emotion of the song. The Beatles gave the song the peppy feel that carried throughout their songs at the time, but Oasis dragged it down to the depths of darkness that the lyrics suggest. | |
| Coldplay – Yellow Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Is this song about Gwenyth Palthrow his lovely yellow haired wife? | |

| Cher called. She wants her song back. | |

I think this song is about the deepest feelings of depression just before suicide. He has someone in his life who makes it all bearable, but even this person can't save him from his depression. |

Yes yes, this song does have a definate Lennon-McCartney feeling. Listening to the song the first thought is one of him being cheated on and deceived by a lover. Going through the song I feel that it is more him singing to himself, and telling someone to let him go. He is saying take my photo off the wall, give me back my point of view, i can't think for you anymore. I think he is the one who has made a fool of everyone, |
