| Damien Rice – The Blower's Daughter Lyrics

best bit: either when he starts to sing 'The pupil in denial' at the top of his voice, or when the female voice is slowly fading away and then his Damiens voice cut's through like a knife 'I Can't take my ming off of you!' |

Who cares if he swears, he's just getting into the music and feeling his words so strongly, he feels he needs to swear to show tha anger and the raw passion in what he's saying, it's one of his best. |

| Jeff Buckley – Last Goodbye Lyrics

With an ex of mine, not long after we finished, i kept dreaming of her, it was only after she left that i realised at all that i loved her. i never seen her again. But i love current girlfriend so much, i couldn't live without her. Sounds pretty sad doesn't it. |

the endless scratching at the back of your mind when your keeping something from someone. like say you cheated on your girlfriend and you wanted to tell her, but she's so happy when she's around you and she's so fragile that you know it would kill her, but you feel so guilty you can't carry on. |

So Damn powerful, i listen and feel such an urgent sense of need. it inspires so much hope in me, that we're not all crazed killers or rapists or shameless advertisers, it gives me hope in the human race, and soon we'll change thing's. |

| Nirvana – Tourette's Lyrics

Tourettes isn't shouting random swear words, it's voicing thoughts involuntarily. so you could be walking down the street, see a pretty girl and involuntarily say, 'I wouldn't mind giving her one' or something like that. I heard that the opening lyrics were 'There's no enemy's, in my heart' |

| Radiohead – Paranoid Android Lyrics

Definitely Anti-yuppie. As with most radiohead song's, they try and make people find their own meaning's, it could subconsciously have references to the hitchhikers guide... and the fall of a roman king, but i don't think he set out to write about it. Ace song though |

| Radiohead – Street Spirit (Fade Out) Lyrics

it's the ultimate darkness, not death or satan. it's quite possibly the saddest song ever, it's a long dark tunnel with no light at the end, just nothingness. Try to imagine that, nothingness, no thought no colour no nothing, just emptyness. |

| Foo Fighters – Aurora Lyrics

I think the meaning is more in the actual music than the lyrics. It's a Contemplative, but happy song, this always reminds me of seeing the aurora myself. Its's just as beautiful as this song. not alot of people try and make music 'art' anymore....jeff buckley did. |

| Radiohead – Let Down Lyrics
|
To me this song is about being 'Let Down' but there may be some sort of pick up. Rather than trying to decipher this song sentence by sentence, i'll pick out the parts that illustrate my points.'starting and then stopping' could be that feeling of being static, you feel you've moved ahead then realise you haven't. 'floor collapses, floating, bouncing back...' just say's what i said at the start. it's one of their best song's to me, this is band that will never LET me Down. get it? hahahaha.....
OwnPersonalDemon sound's like a pretentious dick. |
