this song..or parts of it would be taken two different ways, i think. "Is it worth it, can you even hear me? Standing with your spotlight on me Not enough to feed the hungry I'm tired and I've felt it for awhile now In this sea of lonely/..." this part seems to be telling us this guy wants to get rid of his friend, or, more likely, girlfriend. or that he'd be better without her. while in this part.. "And I'll take your hand and pick you up And keep you there so you can see As long as you're alive and care I promise I will take you there We'll drink and dance the night away" this seems to be telling us the girl is the only one for him and they can live happily ever after what whatnot. talk about mixed messages. |

| I agree with jiodek, i believe this song is about God. The only part that doesn't go along with that is the part when it says "Every word I didn't say.....I'll wrap them all up in a kiss". The most powerful part in the sing that enforces the God thing is, "When I feel that there is no one that will know me, you're there to show me..." I personally love this song! | |
