| Most of BRs songs actually aren't really anti-religion. Rather, they're pro-thinking for yourself and about taking action for causes you believe in. I can also see the faith angle in this song, though. Maybe thats why it didn't make process of belief. | |

It seems he's relating to someone who wants to commit suicide in the lines: I see myself inside, you dream the dreams that I do. You're still searchinf for these answers, they're not inside your wrist. Seems that he was unable to help, as: I thought I heard your voice but I thought wrong. 'Cause you're not there anymore. But he has no choice but to move on, because he "just can't care anymore." |

fucking comment got cut off. Anyway, this isn't the kind of mindset we want to embody or promote listening to such meaningful music. This is why we've got so many fucking posers who could give half a damn about any kind of noteworthy Cause. I interpret this song rather holistically. The world is exhausted from the immaturity and inability for its inhabitants to take actions towards rational actions. In, "and she just doesn't know how much more she can give," I take the pronoun she to refer to the world itself, given in the next sentence. The song embodies weariness given from ignorance and the need for the masses to be told what to think, as given by, "they stand before me below demanding the answers with flips of a switch." Impressing others isn't the prerogative, it's changing the world the way you feel it should be. Yet despite this black hole of inactivity, the need for revolution is there! The time for change is now, yet people are more content to live in ignorance and sit in front of their televisions than take life into their own hands and make a change -- sometimes you just want to set America the fuck on fire. The message: Don't live in fear of your potential, a need for revolution is rising. Set the world on fire. |

| Bad Religion – Shattered Faith Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song is about the one thing that we haven't chosen for ourselves... life. The one thing our free will has no control over is that very thing which gives us our free will, which would be our deliverance (or birth). This resulted from the free will of others. When you accept your fate -- that you have been placed on this earth -- you can begin to live and attempt to truly make a difference as opposed to living to no beneficial ends as many do in the human rat race for capital goods and power. | |

| Pretty funny song about how chili (and other assorted spicy foods) gives you the runs. Unsure of why they used Cape Canaveral in particular, but I'm sure you pick up on the metaphor. | |
